Step 1:

The first thing you need to do is turning on Bluetooth on an iPhone. To do so, go to the Apps menu and select the Settings App. Navigate to Bluetooth option and turn it on using the Toggle button.

Step 6:

Apple’s iPhone is fully secured and it doesn’t let anyone easily connect to it. Once you hit the Pair button, you would be presented with a Passcode on a Windows Screen and on an iPhone’s screen.

Step 7:

If you see the same Passcode on both the screens i.e. on a Windows 10 PC and on iPhone device, click the Yes button. If the Passcode is different, click the No button and the system will generate a new Passcode for you.

Step 8:

When you select the Yes option, you would see a Bluetooth Pairing Request on your iPhone’s screen. You just need to select the Pair option from the screen.

Step 9:

The pairing of your iPhone would begin and it will show you the Connected status after a successful connection.

Note: If you don’t see Bluetooth option in the Settings Menu, just head over to the Device Manager section and search for the Bluetooth option there. Click on to the Down Arrow and select Bluetooth option, right-click on to the option and then select Enable option from there. This will add the Bluetooth option in the Settings menu and you should be able to use it easily. The same way, you can enable or disable other tools from the system.

In the iTunes software, you would see iPhone icon on the left sidebar. Click the iPhone icon to see all the details of your iPhone including the name, storage option and much more. You can also take a backup of your iPhone from there.

Alternatively, if the iPhone is not showing up on the iTunes, try to reconnect it again by removing and inserting the USB data cable again. Go to the My Computer option where you would see a separate disk of iPhone. This is Windows 10’s File Explorer window where you can explore the different files of your iPhone just like an external storage device or USB flash drive.

For both, Windows and Mac systems, iTunes is the best Software to connect and manage your iPhone or any other iOS device. We suggest you to use iTunes software to securely manage your iPhone’s data.
